Litigation Secretary

Downtown Santa Rosa, CA (Fully On-Site)

Full-Time, Direct Hire
Compensation:
$85,000 – $100,000 annually

Litigation Secretary
to support a team of high-performing attorneys in a dynamic, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-level litigation support to attorneys in both
state and federal courts
Draft, format, and proofread legal documents including
pleadings, motions, and correspondence
Prepare and file legal documents, including
e-filing in state and federal courts
Generate and manage
Tables of Authorities (TOA)
and
Tables of Contents (TOC)
Manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, and schedules
Organize and maintain client files, both electronically and in hard copy
Coordinate with court staff, clients, and opposing counsel as needed
Assist with trial preparation, document production, and case management
Qualifications
Minimum of
5 years’ experience
as a Litigation Secretary in a law firm setting
Strong background in
commercial and employment litigation
Proficiency in
state and federal court rules
and e-filing procedures
Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and legal document management systems
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Professional communication and interpersonal skillsCompetitive salary:
$85,000 – $100,000 , depending on experience
