Overview The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Stanford University seeks a fellowship trained board certified/eligible orthopaedic surgeon with a medical doctorate degree specializing in orthopaedic sports medicine with a desire to help build a women’s sports medicine program. Expertise in hip arthroscopy is a plus. The successful candidate will join the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Assistant, or Associate rank on the University Medical Line (UML) or in the Clinician Educator (CE) Line.

Excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, and scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service appropriate to the programmatic need (UML).

Excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need (CE).

Responsibilities

Provide surgical and non‑surgical care for orthopaedic patients.

Produce scholarly work in the candidate’s major areas of interest.

Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students.

Be eligible for a California Medical License.

Expected Base Pay Range Assistant Professor or Clinical Assistant Professor: $310,000-350,000 Associate Professor or Clinical Associate Professor: $310,000-350,000
