The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Stanford University seeks a candidate with a doctoral degree and is board certified/eligible in orthopaedic surgery specializing in orthopaedic pediatric surgery to join the Department as the Service Chief of Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at the Associate Professor, or Professor rank on the University Medical Line (UML) or in the Clinician Educator (CE) Line.

Academic rank and line will be determined by qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. We expect the successful candidate to provide surgical and non-surgical care for orthopaedic patients and produce scholarly work in the candidate’s major areas of interest, as well as teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students. The successful applicant should be eligible for a California Medical License.

The Expected Base Pay Range For This Position Is

Associate Professor or Clinical Associate Professor: $310,000-350,000

Professor or Clinical Professor: $310,000-350,000
