Soni's client is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic

Senior Financial Analyst

to join their Finance team in a fast-paced

manufacturing environment . This role is critical in supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making by providing actionable insights into manufacturing operations, cost structures, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with a focus on manufacturing performance and cost analysis.

Partner with operations and supply chain teams to analyze production costs, material variances, and labor efficiency.

Drive the budgeting and forecasting process for manufacturing operations, including capital expenditures (CapEx), operational expenses (OpEx), and inventory.

Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, pricing decisions, and capacity planning.

Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for production facilities and provide recommendations for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast) and explain key drivers of performance deviations.

Provide financial insight for investment decisions, new product introductions, and process improvement initiatives.

Ensure accurate product costing and support inventory valuation and standard cost updates.

Assist with internal audits and compliance with financial controls.

Support ERP and system upgrades from a finance perspective.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA/CMA preferred).

5+ years of experience in financial analysis, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of manufacturing accounting, cost accounting, and operational finance.

Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, etc.).

Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.

Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

Exposure to global manufacturing operations or multi-site reporting.

Compensation $100,000 to $115,000 annually

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
