Sessional – Hourly Paid (12 hours per week) Responsibilities

Teaching & Assessment – Deliver and assess subject specialisms on the Level 3 Make-up course, ensuring high‑quality learning experiences tailored to individual student needs. Student Support & Progress Monitoring – Guide students to achieve their potential, maintain accurate progress records, and uphold behavioural standards in line with the Student Code of Conduct. Curriculum & Vocational Development – Contribute to curriculum innovation and provide vocational opportunities through employer links and work experience. Teamwork & Administration – Participate in course team meetings, complete administrative tasks (e.g. registers), and support programme management as required. Compliance & Promotion – Uphold safeguarding, EDI, and health & safety standards, engage in marketing activities, and contribute to the College’s wider strategic and promotional efforts. Qualifications

Industry & Teaching Experience – Up‑to‑date knowledge of make‑up trends, professional experience in media make‑up, and teaching experience in the subject area. Communication & Interpersonal Skills – Excellent verbal and written communication, strong interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to build professional relationships with students and staff. Organisation & Adaptability – Highly organised with strong prioritisation skills, able to meet deadlines, manage classroom behaviour, and adapt to changing workloads and schedules. Professionalism & Confidentiality – Able to handle sensitive data appropriately, maintain professional boundaries, and promote a safe, inclusive learning environment. Mobility & Flexibility – Willing to travel across campuses, work flexible hours, and support the College’s safeguarding responsibilities and values. Values for Success
