Forensic Valuation Manager - Litigation & Family Law
Base pay range: $120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities
Engagement Leadership
– Review and manage valuation support engagements, collaborating with clients and team members to meet scope, budget, and timelines. Valuation Work
– Perform and review private company valuation reports, governance documents, divorce valuation and rebuttal reports, and auto-dealer valuation analyses. Process & Technology
– Determine effective procedures and leverage technology to meet engagement objectives efficiently. Client Relationships & Business Development
– Build long‑term relationships with client stakeholders, attorneys, and bankers; identify opportunities to expand services across the firm’s Family of Companies. Technical Expertise
– Apply deep knowledge of valuation theory, specialty practice standards, and relevant laws and regulations to deliver practical, defensible valuation solutions. Thought Leadership
– Contribute to practice development and the firm’s visibility through publications, presentations, and professional involvement. Compliance
– Adhere to the firm’s processes and policies, including strict confidentiality standards. Ideal Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field. 4+ years of progressive business valuation experience, with advanced Excel modeling skills. Professional certifications preferred (e.g., CPA, ASA, ABV, CFA, CFE, FHFMA, CFF, CHFP). Experience in divorce or family law valuations a huge plus. Proven ability to work independently and provide exceptional service to clients, attorneys, and project stakeholders. Willingness to travel to client sites as needed. Work Arrangement
