Overview
Partner – Matrimonial / Family Law Forensic Accounting & Business Valuation What You’ll Do
As Partner, you will expand DLA's Matrimonial & Family Law practice through practice building, client development, and leadership. Your day-to-day may include: Leading engagements in
divorce financial consulting, forensic accounting for family law, business valuation for marital dissolution, hidden asset investigations, lifestyle analysis, and equitable distribution disputes. Providing
expert witness testimony in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
involving divorce finance and economic damages. Advising attorneys and clients on
spousal support, child support, separate vs. marital property, and dissipation claims. Developing and executing strategic growth plans for the
Family Law & Divorce Litigation Support
practice. Building visibility through
thought leadership, professional associations (AAML, NACVA, ASA), and attorney networking. Managing and mentoring teams of consultants and analysts to deliver high-quality, defensible results. What You’ll Bring
We know great team members come from many paths. Typically, we look for: A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. 15+ years of experience in
matrimonial litigation support, divorce finance, and family law forensic consulting for high-net-worth clients . Proven success as a
financial expert witness
in divorce and complex disputes. Clear communication skills and ability to explain
damages and financial concepts
to attorneys and non-financial stakeholders. Professional designations such as CPA, CVA, ABV, ASA, CFA, CFE, CFF, or
CDFA (Certified Divorce Financial Analyst) . Membership in organizations like
AAML, NACVA, or ASA
