Base Pay Range
$120,000 – $150,000 per year Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a small, multidisciplinary engineering team on product development and continuous improvement projects. Plan, prioritize, and track engineering activities using Agile or hybrid project methods. Foster a collaborative team environment focused on accountability, technical rigor, and execution. Partner with manufacturing and quality teams to troubleshoot design and production challenges. Actively contribute to prototype builds, mechanical design, and system integration activities. Develop and run test plans to validate performance, durability, and environmental reliability. Perform hands‑on diagnostics, root cause analysis, and design iteration on mechanical and electro‑mechanical systems. Work directly with design tools and lab instrumentation to verify product performance and manufacturability. Project Execution
Oversee project schedules and deliverables, ensuring alignment between engineering, production, and operations. Manage daily standups, technical reviews, and sprint planning to maintain clear communication and momentum. Support documentation, test data tracking, and technical reporting to maintain quality standards. Drive continuous improvement by refining engineering processes and feedback loops. Preferred Experience
Strong background with lab or production test environments, mechanical assemblies, or sensor‑based systems. Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks or Creo) and data tracking systems such as JIRA, Confluence, or PLM platforms. Experience designing and executing product validation and reliability testing. Familiarity with stage‑gate or Agile development cycles. PMP or Agile/Scrum certification a plus. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering (or related field). 7+ years of engineering experience in product design, development, or test engineering. 2+ years leading projects or small engineering teams. Proven ability to balance hands‑on technical work with team leadership. Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and organizational skills. Seniority Level
