ADMISSIONS DIRECTOR (77919) Location: Cityview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center – Fort Worth, TX

Job Type: Full Time, up to 50% Travel

Department: Admissions

Primary Responsibilities As the Admissions Director, you will manage the admissions system, oversee the Admissions Coordinator, lead facility sales and business development teams, and build strong relationships with hospital liaisons. You will promote the facility’s services, gather information for interdisciplinary teams, and ensure smooth patient transitions.

Essential Functions

Build and grow revenue through inquiry and census growth.

Ensure smooth patient transition, oversee timely accurate completion of admission agreements and welcome packets, accurate communication to the clinical team and other department heads.

Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers within the community and develop new referring relationships.

Communicate to build awareness of the facility’s scope of services.

Direct facility sales and business development efforts, chairing the Internal Business Development Committee meetings.

Manage and train the internal backup sales/admission team on inquiries, tours and closing skills.

Oversee marketing budget, sales and business development planning meetings and all marketing events.

Promote facility services, including nursing and therapy services.

Conduct facility tours when appropriate.

Document results from monthly community education/awareness programs.

Participate in morning department head meeting providing admission/readmission information and promotional activities.

Develop 30/60/90 days sales call calendar with hospitals and other referral sources.

Follow company sales cycle process, cold call and make appointments to potential referral sources.

Spend 75% outside the facility conducting sales calls, attending business development events and screening referrals.

Explain products, services and benefits offered by the facility to referral sources and potential residents family members.

Assess potential resident’s chart and explain admission eligibility to licensed nurse.

Read Nursing Home regulations, past facility surveys and 5-star rating system and explain results to administrators and referral sources.

Explain financial eligibility to referral sources, potential referrals or family members.

Develop and update a weekly 30/60/90-day Sales and Business Development Plan.

Qualifications

High School diploma; Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field desired.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Ability to work well with an interdisciplinary team.

Experience working in a skilled nursing facility desired.
