Marketing & Admissions Director – Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Brookdale is seeking a Marketing & Admissions Director to oversee the admissions department for a skilled nursing center. The role is responsible for achieving occupancy and revenue targets while partnering with facility leadership and external business development to execute sales and community business plans.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate triage of new inquiries and referrals to accelerate admissions conversions.

Coordinate pre‑admission and admission processes with interdisciplinary teams in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Maintain awareness of bed status and room readiness at all times.

Respond promptly and effectively to referral requests, serving as liaison between referral sources, Brookdale, and the community.

Communicate overview of upcoming admissions to interdisciplinary teams, ensuring equipment needs, clinical snapshot, physicians, diagnosis, anticipated LOS, post‑skilled disposition, and special needs are met.

Conduct tours for prospective patients and/or family members, selling community benefits, answering questions, and obtaining information through discovery to offer solutions.

Maintain budgeted occupancy and quality mix for skilled nursing communities.

Track sales records, such as referral/admission logs and electronic sales system, and monitor trends and conversion ratios.

Provide reporting and forecasting to Healthcare Administrator, Executive Director, Regional Sales, Operations Teams, and Business Development Teams.

Represent the rehab/SNF in appropriate community, market, or strategic sales meetings.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field required.

Minimum five years of professional experience in sales and marketing, including at least two years in a supervisory capacity.

Strong sales ability is essential; healthcare experience desirable.

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

Standing, walking, talking, hearing, reaching, and some lifting (up to 25 lbs).

Requires interaction with co‑workers, residents, or vendors.

May involve occasional weekend, evening, or night work to ensure shift coverage.

Exposure to communicable diseases, blood‑borne pathogens, and various chemical or biological hazards is possible.

Occasional travel may be required.
