Part-time Faculty Positions
DePaul University invites expressions of interest for a pool of qualified Part-Time Faculty to teach courses across all 10 colleges and schools. Interested individuals can submit their credentials to any relevant posting. The pool is ongoing, depending on curricular needs and funding, and will remain active until the specified closing date. Resubmission is required to remain in the pool beyond this date. All pool members will be notified when postings close.

DePaul's Jarvis College of Computing & Digital Media (CDM) is located in Chicago's Loop, serving a diverse student body.
Part-time teaching positions are available throughout the year, including summer sessions.
Course schedules vary by quarter; the college will coordinate with selected individuals to determine schedules.
Applicants with relevant expertise will be contacted for interviews.

Required Qualifications:
A master's degree in the discipline, or 18 semester/27 quarter hours of graduate work, or an undergraduate degree with at least five years of relevant professional experience. Exceptions may be approved by the dean.
Experience working in diverse learning environments.
Special Instructions to Applicants:
The School of Computing offers BS and MS in Data Science, focusing on data analytics, multivariate analysis, machine learning, and database processing. Candidates with professional experience in data science and analytics, especially in data visualization, multivariate statistics, time series analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning, are sought.
Additional Information:
Exceptions to standard rates may apply for courses with special credit hours, labs, clinical/practicum components, coaching, administrative tasks, or variable enrollment.
Salary range per course: $4,700 - $6,000, based on qualifications and experience.

DePaul operates mainly on a quarter system, with classes in Autumn, Winter, and Spring lasting 11 weeks, and Summer sessions typically 5 weeks. The College of Law uses a semester system.
