The Role We are seeking a Presales Consultant based in the US to partner with our sales team on complex deals. The role requires deep knowledge of the financial services and digital asset industries and involves acting as a trusted advisor and subject‑matter expert.
Key Responsibilities
Lead technical discovery calls and design tailored product demonstrations and presentations that showcase the value of the HALO platform and address prospect pain points.
Serve as the go‑to expert on the product’s technical capabilities, architecture, and real‑world applications to financial crime and market abuse scenarios.
Manage technical aspects of the sales cycle, including responding to RFPs/RFIs and designing/executing proof‑of‑concepts.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to relay market feedback, inform the roadmap, and ensure smooth transition from presales to implementation.
Requirements
5+ years of presales, solutions consulting, or sales engineering experience, preferably in fintech or RegTech selling B2B software to financial institutions.
Solid understanding of financial services, trading, compliance, risk management; knowledge of digital asset/crypto ecosystem highly desirable.
Ability to articulate complex technical concepts (APIs, data architectures, SaaS) to technical and non‑technical audiences.
Exceptional presentation and communication skills (verbal and written).
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a knack for thinking on your feet to address client questions and objections.
Team‑player who works effectively with sales, product, and engineering teams.
Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and internal events.

Benefits The annual salary range for this role is $120,000–$150,000, plus commission tied to performance targets.
