What you'll do As a
Payments Presales Consultant
you will support the sales organization in designing and positioning end‑to‑end payment solutions for enterprise clients across Getnet’s footprint. You will act as a trusted advisor, combining technical expertise, commercial acumen, and industry insight to deliver tailored proposals that address complex payment needs.
Key Responsibilities
Segment Scope: Large Multinational Clients
Support strategic prospecting and client targeting & value proposition design, including fine‑tuning targeting with the sales team.
Identify and communicate product & operational gaps to capture or cross‑sell/up‑sell opportunities.
Oversee the upcoming value propositions for the market.
Support structuring/generation of product‑wise requirements for new verticals and segments.
Partner with sales and relationship management teams throughout the full sales cycle—from opportunity qualification to deal closure.
Conduct discovery sessions to understand clients’ business and operational models.
Design and propose comprehensive payment solutions across acquiring and gateway services.
Lead RFI/RFP responses with high‑quality technical and commercial documentation.
Provide tools for sales and presales teams to optimize conversation and conversion.
Oversee implementation teams to ensure on‑time, in‑full delivery and commercial readiness.
Engage clients in full activation for early contractual volumes and execute satisfaction reviews.
Develop go‑to‑market plans aligned with internal and client teams.
Collect client agreements/signatures on scope and as‑implemented acceptance.
Deliver professional product demonstrations and solution presentations to executive‑level audiences.
Provide clear technical explanations of complex payment capabilities.
Collaborate with implementation and integration teams to validate feasibility before contract signature.
Work closely with Product, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Legal to ensure solutions meet regulatory standards.
Coordinate with regional pre‑sales teams for consistency across markets.
Provide structured feedback to Product Management & Tech on client needs and trends.
Maintain strong knowledge of global payment trends and regulation.
Benchmark competitors and identify differentiators to strengthen value proposition.
Support marketing and business development with subject‑matter expertise in digital payments and merchant acquiring.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or related field; postgraduate studies or MBA a plus.
Minimum 5 years of experience in pre‑sales, solution consulting, or technical account management within payments or fintech.
Proven experience with acquiring & card processing (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), payment gateways and APIs, alternative & digital payment methods, and security/compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, SCA, 3DS, PSD2).
Strong commercial awareness and ability to articulate value propositions at the executive level.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluency in English, Spanish and/or Portuguese highly desirable.
Availability for international collaboration and occasional travel.
