at the Northrop Grumman Microelectronics Center in the greater Baltimore MD area or Redondo Beach CA. This IPT‑Level role leads technical planning, manages workforce planning, directs engineering execution, and develops the systems engineering process. Responsibilities
Partner with the IPT Lead and other technical leads to plan and execute IPT activities. Write technical specifications, Statements of Work (SOWs), and review design documents (e.g., SRR, SFR, SDR, PDR, CDR, SVR, TRR). Serve as the cost account manager for system engineering and related responsibilities. Perform 80% technical work and 20% functional management, supporting, developing, and tasking engineering staff. Maintain required U.S. Government security clearance and support clearance activities. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in STEM with 12 yr experience (or Master’s with 10 yr, PhD with 8 yr). Proven leadership, motivational, and guidance of engineering teams. Experience defining and managing large‑scale system requirements and decomposition. Familiarity with EVMS, budget, schedule, and CAM. Risk and opportunity management experience. Systems development, integration, and test experience. Cross‑functional communication across software, hardware, electrical. U.S. citizen; current active DoD Secret clearance with TS/SCI and polygraph. Preferred Qualifications
TS/SCI active with polygraph clearance. Master’s STEM or higher. Engineering leadership across acquisition phases. MBSE and requirements tools (Cameo, DOORS). Project & task tools (Jira, Confluence). Tool familiarity: MATLAB, COMSOL, Docker, Kubernetes, Visual Studio, Python, Grafana, Tableau, Cadence, ANSYS. Salary & Benefits
Salary range: $187,000 – $280,600. Additional base pay, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonus. Benefits include health insurance, life and disability, savings plan, paid holidays, PTO, and potential long‑term incentives. EEO Statement
