Description SAIC has an immediate need for a cleared (Secret) Systems Administrators

with Agile Core Services (ACS) knowledge and experience to support a recently awarded contract within the Navy Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR). You will integrate, install, and maintain Agile Core Services (ACS) and associated components within the OPE AWS environment. You will research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. In this role, the Systems Administrator will be an integral team member supporting assured Command and Control capabilities for the Naval Operational Architecture within the Navy Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) in San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities

Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis

Update or enhance existing software capabilities

Work with other functional disciplines (e.g., project management, acquisition, logistics, security, etc.) to integrate hardware and software systems, and develop specifications, and performance requirements

Maintain databases within an application area

Qualifications Education & Certifications

Master's or bachelor's in quantitative field such as engineering or math (e.g. Elec Eng, Comp Eng, Comp Sci, IT, or Info Sys); years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Required: CompTIA Security+ or higher (DOD 8140)

Preferred: Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification

Required Skills and Experience

9+ years of experience with 2-3 years of progressively more complex experience developing software applications using Red Hat OpenShift, Linux, and Ansible

Experience with applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting

Experience with applying modern software development methodologies (e.g., agile, DEVOPS/DEVSECOPS) in a professional or academic setting

Experience developing internal OPSEC programs specific to the task order and based on Government client OPSEC requirements

Experience providing to the government, a system security plan (or extract thereof) and any associated plans of action developed to satisfy the adequate security requirements of DFARS 252.204-7012, and in accordance with NIST Special Publication (SP) 800-171, “Protecting Controlled Unclassified Information in Nonfederal Systems and Organizations”

Automated metrics and dashboard reporting especially in AWS GovCloud

Proven experience utilizing Ansible scripting

Infrastructure as a Service or Infrastructure as a Code (IaaS/IaC)

Openshift and Linux Sys Admin Experience

Cloud/AWS experience - Cloud Migration

Service mesh, Proxy Admin, IDAM Solutions

KeyCloak, ForgeRock experience

Postgres/RDS

Active Directory Experience

PKI experience

Preferred Skills and Experience

ArcGIS Experience

Servicemesh, IDAM, Keycloak/Forgerock

Citizenship and Clearance Requirements

US Citizenship required

No dual Citizenship

Active SECRET clearance required, active TS SCI clearance preferred

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
