Position Overview Locust Point Capital is seeking a highly motivated

Investor Relations Associate

to join its growing Investor Relations (“IR”) team. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to gain direct exposure to institutional fundraising, investor communications, and fund operations within a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.

The Associate will support senior IR professionals in executing fundraising initiatives, managing investor relationships, and delivering high-quality communications and materials to existing and prospective investors. This position provides meaningful exposure to the firm’s investment strategies, performance analytics, and fund structures, with frequent interaction across departments including Finance, Portfolio Management, Legal, and Compliance.

This role is based in

Miami, Florida , and reports directly to the

CEO . Team members work in the office Monday through Thursday, with flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities

Support the IR team in preparing marketing collateral, investor presentations, quarterly reports, and fund update materials.

Coordinate investor due diligence processes, data room management, and information requests throughout fundraising cycles.

Track and manage investor engagement, pipeline activity, and communication records using the firm’s CRM system.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and consistency across investor-facing documents and communications.

Assist with the organization and execution of investor meetings, conferences, and events.

Conduct market and investor research to support business development initiatives and competitive analysis.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of fund performance models and analytical tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.

2–5 years of experience in investor relations, private credit, real estate private equity, or a related investment environment.

Solid understanding of private markets, corporate finance, and fund structures.

High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and presentation quality.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and polished demeanor.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential information.

Preferred Skills and Attributes

Experience supporting institutional fundraising or capital formation initiatives.

Familiarity with credit, real estate, or alternative investment products.

Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, resourcefulness, and intellectual curiosity.

Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
