Senior PeopleSoft FSCM Functional Analyst
Location:
Austin, TX (Remote with possible hybrid office)
Work Hours:
Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Central
This role is currently a remote position but could become hybrid and require some time in the main office. Specific days will be negotiated at that time.
Responsibilities
Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives.
Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve existing computer system.
Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements.
Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program.
Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.
Additional Job Details and Special Considerations
Must have experience implementing PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Accounts Receivable and Billing modules and excel in gathering requirements, conducting fit-gap analysis, and mapping data to and from legacy systems and third‑party interface systems.
Hands‑on experience implementing PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Accounts Receivable and Billing modules as a functional business analyst, and core business analyst skills including meetings to identify requirements, system documentation, and end‑to‑end system testing.
Other duties may be assigned based on project needs, and some off‑hours may be required depending on the project phase.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively with a large remote team.
Documentation, hands‑on system testing, training support, and other project tasks as needed.

8+ years
Required Experience:
Business analyst with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2; Accounts Receivable and Billing module implementations; gathering requirements; fit/gap analysis with subject matter experts; hands‑on end‑to‑end system integration testing with third‑party interfaces; Microsoft O365 applications; MS Teams large team setting.
Preferred Experience:
Public sector organization; General Ledger business analyst; Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts CAPPS Financials system; PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE); SharePoint; Jira; Scrum framework.
