PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Business Analyst - AR/Billing
Location: Austin, Texas. Remote – candidates currently residing in the Austin area will be considered for a predominantly remote role; hybrid option with occasional office work at 4601 W Guadalupe Street, Austin 78751.
Job Description:
Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve existing systems: Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be summarized, and formats for reports. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify program. Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.
Additional Job Details And Special Considerations:
The candidate must have experience implementing PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Accounts Receivable and Billing modules and excel in gathering requirements, conducting fit-gap analysis, mapping data to and from legacy systems and third-party interface systems. Must be a functional business analyst with core business analyst skills, including conducting meetings to identify requirements, system documentation, and performing end-to-end system testing. Other duties may be assigned based on project needs; some off‑hours may be required during project phases. Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively with a large remote team. Documentation, hands‑on system testing, supporting training efforts, and other project tasks as needed.
Candidate Skills And Qualifications:
8 years experience as a business analyst with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2.
8 years experience specifically in Accounts Receivable and Billing module implementations.
8 years experience in gathering requirements and conducting fit/gap analysis with subject matter experts.
8 years experience performing hands‑on end‑to‑end system integration testing with third‑party interfaces.
8 years (at least 4) experience with Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
8 years (at least 2) experience working with MS Teams in a large team setting.
Preferred:
4 years experience working with a public sector organization.
2 years experience as a business analyst in General Ledger.
2 years experience working with the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials system.
2 years experience with PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE).
2 years experience with SharePoint.
1 year experience with Jira.
1 year experience working with the Scrum framework.
