Valuations Analyst – New York, NY
Base pay range: $85,000.00/yr – $115,000.00/yr
Hybrid | $85,000–$115,000 base + bonus
We are seeking a
Valuations Analyst
to join a growing advisory team specializing in valuation and opinions for private equity firms, credit funds, and corporate clients. The role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on exposure to complex financial instruments, portfolio company valuations, and transaction advisory work across diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain detailed financial models to support valuation analyses, including DCF, comparable company, and precedent transaction approaches
Perform financial statement analysis, market research, and data synthesis to assess company performance and valuation drivers
Assist with preparation of valuation reports, client deliverables, and presentations
Support senior team members in client communications, recurring valuation reviews, and audit support
Track capital market trends and maintain internal valuation databases
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
1–3 years of experience in valuations, investment banking, corporate finance, accounting, or consulting
Strong financial modeling and Excel skills; familiarity with PowerPoint and research databases (Capital IQ, Bloomberg, etc.)
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Progress toward CPA or CFA a plus
