Senior OS Development Engineer – VIZIO
Position Summary: VIZIO’s Technology – Software and Services team is seeking a Senior OS Development Engineer to join their growing team. A successful candidate will contribute domain expertise and make high‑impact individual contributions related to C++ UI engine development and optimization. This position will not have direct reports and is an Individual contributor. We pride ourselves on being a collaborative team here at Vizio and to accomplish this, we are in office 5 days a week in our Dallas, TX office.

As a Project Management Manager, you’ll be instrumental in driving continuous improvement and innovation.
What You’ll Do
Lead requirement gathering, risk analysis, and scoping for new projects
Design and oversee solution architecture and detailed design for key initiatives
Guide coding standards, tool selection, and automation for CI/CD pipelines
Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and defect management
Monitor program metrics, ensure project milestones are met, and report progress
Drive DevOps best practices and application maintenance
Build strong relationships with stakeholders and mentor team members
What You’ll Bring
Proven experience in project management, software development, and solution design
Expertise in risk analysis, cost estimation, and requirements classification
Proficiency with coding languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, C#) and modern frameworks
Strong knowledge of CI/CD, testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Jira), and DevOps practices
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex systems and drive continuous improvement
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
