The successful candidate will have the ability to work with cutting edge technology that helps facilitate productivity, security, and collaboration to VIZIO. The Specialist Technician will report to the Technology Support II and provide hands on support to employees in their local office and company-wide employees via remote assistance. Responsibilities
Provide provisioning of PC, Mac, and Linux-based hardware for new employees. Deliver L1/L2 support to users locally and company-wide via Email, Chat, or Phone, ensuring adherence to SLAs, policies, and SOPs. Assist Infrastructure and Client Services teams with testing and deploying new hardware, software, and operating systems. Support Video Conferencing Systems; collaborate with senior team members and leadership on hardware requirements to maximize productivity. Oversee inventory and stocking levels for IT assets at the local office; coordinate with the local office manager for building access and IT-managed equipment. Occasional travel to other offices nationwide to support operations. Handle other tasks as assigned by team leadership to maintain a dynamic and engaging work environment. Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma (or equivalent). Advanced understanding of currently supported Windows and macOS versions with 1+ year of OS support experience. 1+ year of related work experience. Self-starter in a fast-paced, evolving environment; strong team player with a “no task is too small” attitude. Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users and collaborate with software developers to provide correct solutions and root cause analysis. At least 1 year of experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow). At least 1 year of experience with Office 365 Admin Center. Beginner level understanding of Command Prompt, PowerShell, and Terminal. Solid foundation in Windows and macOS imaging. Knowledge of self-service software installation tools (e.g., Company Portal, Manage Engine). Understanding of Active Directory tools. Preferred Qualifications
Information Technology, Microsoft Office, and accessibility knowledge; familiarity with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA and assistive technologies. Benefits and Other Information
