Overview Acara Solution is looking for an Electrical Hardware Design Engineer for Our client located in Dedham, MA. Responsibilities As an Electrical Hardware Design Engineer, you will be a key part of a cross-functional team responsible for designing complex and mission-critical systems. You will be involved in all program phases, including requirements analysis, schematic capture, defining routing constraints, directing PCB/PWB layout and routing activities, and supporting the manufacturing, integration, testing, and qualification of the hardware system. You will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders and customers to develop systems that meet their high expectations. In this role, you will primarily support the Cyber business area, developing mission computers, sensor processors, and storage management hardware. Qualifications Required Skills / Qualifications Bachelor\'s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics. Minimum 5 years of experience in circuit card designs, including using advanced materials, packaging techniques, and high-speed interfaces. Preferred Skills / Qualifications Master\'s Degree. Designing electrical hardware using the Siemens/Mentor Graphics Xpedition tool suite, high-speed digital and high-density circuit card design incorporating embedded processors or FPGAs, designs using fiber optic interfaces, and advanced working knowledge of lab equipment including oscilloscopes and Ethernet network testers. Understanding of the hardware development process throughout the lifecycle of a program. Knowledge of the schematic entry, constraint manager, and HyperLynx Signal Integrity/Power Integrity analysis. Ability to persevere through design challenges with minimal direction. Exceptional communication skills with the capacity to drive innovation and secure buy-in on your concepts and ideas.
