Education: Recent College Graduate in Construction Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Or
Technical School Graduate specializing in HVAC, electrical, engineering or construction management
Or
3 years industry experience in Building Automation Systems, Testing Adjusting Balancing (TAB)

What Youll Do Review MEP construction design documents Coordinate and interaction with owners, contractors, engineers, and facility teams Attend and document project meetings Schedule and track commissioning team activities Support project managers with schedule and progress updates Develop functional performance testing documents from sequences of operation Perform on-site system testing for HVAC, lighting, and plumbing Identify and document system requirements and deficiencies Conduct fieldwork including ladder, lift, and scaffolding access What Were Looking For A degree in Construction, Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or) A technical school background in HVAC, electrical, engineering, or construction management (or) 3+ years of experience with BAS, TAB, or HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing contracting Willingness to travel 23 weeks per month Familiarity with building codes and safety training (OSHA 10 preferred) Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Basic CAD knowledge The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environments Commissioning certifications (ASHRAE, NEBB, AEE, BCxA, or AABC) are a plus A responsible, independent, and reliable work ethic Self-motivated with a positive attitude
