Cloud Solutions Architect Optomi, in partnership with a global leader in financial services, is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect (M&A) to drive cloud innovation across a dynamic enterprise environment. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in leading the cloud integration and transformation of newly acquired companies, aligning their systems with enterprise-level platforms and standards. Requirements and Skills of the right candidate: Education & Experience Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience) 4+ years hands-on experience in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform DevOps & Automation Tools Proficiency with CI/CD and automation tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Octopus Deploy, Salt, or Fabric Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancing, routing, and SD-WAN Resilience Engineering Experience designing High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) solutions, including multi-region active/active architectures M&A Integration Experience Demonstrated success working with acquired companies and aligning them with enterprise cloud platforms and strategies Leadership & Communication Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills Key Responsibilities

Architect Cloud Solutions Design scalable, secure, and reusable cloud architectures that align with business goals and M&A strategies. Lead Technical Assessments Evaluate technical landscapes of acquired entities, identify gaps, define target states, and develop actionable roadmaps for integration and modernization. Extend enterprise cloud capabilities to acquired companies, including operating model alignment, workload migration, and deployment strategy. Modernize Infrastructure Advocate for cloud-native technologies and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and automated provisioning to streamline operations. Partner with Development, Infrastructure, and Product teams to ensure seamless adoption of cloud platforms across the organization. Automate & Optimize Continuously improve processes and handoffs through automation, modern tooling, and a DevOps mindset. Influence Cloud Strategy Contribute to enterprise-wide governance, best practices, and architecture principles that drive scalable, secure cloud adoption. Seniority level
