If so, we're looking for a Lead Solutions Architect to drive our cloud strategy and architecture forward! As a key technical leader, you'll design and implement enterprise cloud solutions, optimize cloud infrastructure, and ensure seamless integration across our platforms. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect solutions that are innovative, cost-effective, and future-proof.
Responsibilities
Architect Scalable Azure Solutions: Design, implement, and maintain highly available, resilient, and scalable architectures within Microsoft Azure to meet evolving business needs.
Drive Azure Strategy & Governance: Establish and enforce Azure best practices, policies, and governance frameworks to enhance operational efficiency, security, and compliance across the organization.
Lead Azure Deployments & Migrations: Oversee complex migrations to Azure and optimize deployments within the platform, ensuring seamless transitions and integrations.
Champion Azure Security & Compliance: Deploy robust Azure security measures, maintain adherence to regulatory requirements, and safeguard sensitive data and infrastructure from emerging threats.
Innovate with Azure Automation & DevOps: Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Azure ARM or Terraform, design CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, and develop Azure-native solutions to increase agility, accelerate delivery, and improve reliability.
Qualifications
10+ years in IT architecture, with at least 5 years focused on cloud solutions.
Proven background working with proprietary software platforms, preferably within the insurance and/or financial services industries.
Industry Expertise: Hands‑on experience delivering technology solutions that align with the unique needs and regulatory requirements of insurance or finance operations.
Microservices: Strong track record in designing, implementing, and managing microservices architectures to enable scalability, flexibility, and maintainability of enterprise systems.
Methodologies: Proficiency in SDLC methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
Development Skills: Strong background in .NET custom development using C#, along with expertise in web application scripting languages (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Ajax, XML, and jQuery).
DevOps Knowledge: Experience with CI/CD, release management, and automation using tools like Azure DevOps.
Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with Node.js, PowerShell for Azure, Azure ARM, or Terraform, and experience with Vue.js or React.js, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Data Solutions: Knowledge of Power BI, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure Data Factories.
