IP Litigation Paralegal – Palo Alto, CA

Schedule: Full‑Time, Onsite with Flexibility
Salary: $120,000 - $160,000
About The Opportunity A top‑tier global law firm is seeking an IP Litigation Paralegal to join its Palo Alto office. This role provides the opportunity to work on high‑profile, complex matters and support attorneys through all phases of litigation.
Key Responsibilities
Support attorneys throughout the litigation lifecycle, from case initiation through trial.
Assist with calendaring case deadlines, drafting, and preparing court filings in federal and state courts.
Manage discovery processes including document collection, organization, review, and production.
Proofread, cite‑check, and Bluebook briefs and discovery documents.
Prepare for depositions, meetings, interviews, arbitrations, and trials, including handling travel logistics.
Develop charts, indices, and case management tools to support litigation teams.
Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams across multiple offices.
Mentor junior paralegals and legal assistants.
Track and submit timekeeping reports accurately and timely.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; ABA‑approved paralegal certificate preferred.
7+ years of litigation paralegal experience in a large law firm setting.
Background in securities litigation, class actions, white collar, IP law, AI, privacy, or cybersecurity a plus.
Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, practices, and workflows.
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with advanced reasoning and analytical ability.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, iManage, Lexis Nexis, and Westlaw.
Experience with eDiscovery tools such as Relativity, Opus 2, or CaseMap.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with flexibility to travel and work overtime when needed.
