HR Generalist Our client is seeking a proactive and adaptable HR Generalist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing hands‑on recruiting with broader HR responsibilities. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills, able to pivot between day‑to‑day hiring coordination, employee relations, and supporting strategic HR initiatives with professionalism and discretion.

This role can be onsite in Vancouver, Washington or fully remote.

HR Generalist Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end recruiting for 8–10 open roles at a time, including posting jobs, screening applicants, and coordinating interviews and onboarding.

Collaborate with hiring managers to gather job specs, manage application tracking, and support workforce expansion projects.

Assist with HR initiatives such as employee relations, policy guidance, and occasional HR complaint investigations.

Coordinate new hire orientation, employee recognition, and wellness programs, ensuring a positive employee experience.

Maintain accurate HR documentation, including personnel actions, benefits reconciliations, and compliance with union contracts.

HR Generalist Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, with 3+ years of HR generalist or recruiting experience.

Proven ability to manage multiple open positions and adjust priorities in a dynamic environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating across departments and with diverse teams.

Familiarity with HRIS systems such as ADP Workforce Now, and general awareness of employment law and union environments are beneficial but not required.

Highly organized, confidential, and able to handle sensitive matters with tact and discretion.
