Responsibilities
Managing a team that is responsible for preparing, examining, and analyzing accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the your own portfolio of clients accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity etc. Coordinating and completing annual audits, providing recommendations for procedural improvements. Calculating and issuing financial analysis of the financial reports. Managing the preparation of the company's budget. Liaising with external auditors and managing internal controls. Overseeing regulatory reporting, frequently including tax planning and compliance. Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree or professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, etc.) is highly desirable. A minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role. We are a mid-size Accounting firm that is growing our Outsourced Accounting team.
