Houston Commercial & Business Litigation Attorney
Seeking a 3-5 year associate attorney with courtroom experience for an AV-rated mid‑sized defense firm in Houston. The ideal candidate has experience in contract disputes, arbitration, and handling commercial cases in state and federal courts throughout Texas. This role will include a special emphasis on commercial litigation, discovery, and motion practice through mediation and trials; requires ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. A motivated, determined individual will thrive here with career growth opportunities in complex commercial matters and high‑dollar cases in a team‑oriented, collaborative work environment.
Job Duties
Draft pleadings, prepare discovery, briefing, and legal research; attend depositions.
Conduct mediations, administrative hearings, and make court appearances.
Represent in evidentiary hearings, lead temporary injunction and restraining order hearings.
Compensation Starting annual base compensation DOE $130K-$150K; solid bonus structure; full suite benefits; 401(k).
