Family Law Attorney

Job Overview: A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced and motivated Family Law Attorney to join its Houston-based team. Location: Houston, TX Duties: Manage family law cases from intake to final resolution Provide legal counsel on matters including divorce, custody, modifications, and child support Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and consultations Draft pleadings, discovery, and legal correspondence Prepare and deliver case updates including monthly client status reports and weekly internal reviews Maintain compliance with performance metrics and client satisfaction benchmarks Collaborate with practice managers on case strategy and improvements Requirements: Minimum of 2 years practicing family law in Texas (5+ years preferred) Valid license to practice law in Texas (active and in good standing) Passion for courtroom appearances, mediation, and client advocacy Strong research, writing, and drafting skills Familiarity with legal case management tools such as Clio, TxDoc, or similar platforms Ability to work independently while maintaining strong team collaboration High level of organization and attention to detail Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Certifications: Licensed to practice law in Texas (required) Skills: Litigation and mediation experience in family law Legal writing and document drafting Case management using legal software Client communication and service excellence Strong time management and multitasking abilities Familiarity with Texas family law statutes and court procedures Earn up to $70,000 additional through a biweekly billable incentive plan Paid time off (PTO) Hybrid work flexibility (1–2 remote days per week) Health, dental, and vision insurance Short- and long-term disability insurance Life insurance and optional voluntary term life coverage 401(k) retirement plan with up to 5% employer match Company info BCG Attorney Search 10777 Westheimer, Suite 1100 Houston Texas United States 77042 Phone :
