JV Project Manager Consultant – Finance & Integration
The JV Project Manager Consultant will lead the finance and project integration workstreams necessary to establish a new 50/50 Joint Venture. This part‑time temporary role (6–9 months) is responsible for ensuring the new entity is financially and operationally ready by the February 1, 2026 launch date. The consultant will take ownership of finance setup—including bank accounts, payroll funding, accounting structure, and budget processes—while coordinating across HR, Legal, Operations, and IT to deliver on broader project milestones. Finance Leadership (Primary Focus)
Establish JV financial infrastructure: bank accounts, payroll funding processes, tax registrations Design chart of accounts, cost allocation, and reporting structure with accounting advisors Create JV’s initial budget and financial forecasts Support payroll tax compliance and funding flows in coordination with HR/Payroll Align financial controls, signatory authority, and reporting lines with JV governance Project Management (Secondary Focus)
Develop and maintain the JV project roadmap, milestones, and dependencies Facilitate steering committee meetings and provide executive‑level updates Coordinate cross‑functional workstreams Oversee operations—facility readiness and supply chain integration Manage legal—entity formation, service agreements, and governance documents Track and mitigate risks; escalate issues requiring executive input Requirements & Skills
7+ years in project management or finance leadership Strong background in finance, accounting, or corporate integration (JV launches, M&A, spin‑offs) Prior consulting or interim leadership experience preferred Must have Microsoft Business Central experience Skills
Financial acumen: build budgets, controls, and reporting frameworks Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana) Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field CPA or MBA strongly preferred; PMP certification a plus
