Job Summary
Responsible for the analysis, planning, and coordination of technology activities for guest services systems. The candidate performs independent research to proactively identify and analyze future opportunities and emerging solutions to drive improvement. Location & Compensation
Location: Bethesda, Maryland Job type: Contract Work hours: 8am to 5pm Salary: $60 - 80 per hour Education: Bachelor’s Responsibilities
Define and socialize product requirements - document use cases, workflows, and wireframes to support development Coordinate testing and acceptance of system changes between vendors and MI business partners Coordinate with support teams for problem resolution Evaluate product improvements and new technical solutions to align with business objectives Qualifications
7+ years’ experience in information technology application design or development projects Demonstrated project leadership and management skills, including the ability to lead multi-functional project teams and 3rd party vendors to deliver concrete actions and results Demonstrated ability to deliver results under challenging conditions, particularly when faced with complexity, ambiguity, and aggressive timelines Skilled at converting business needs into technology requirements and working within Technology to manage the execution of projects Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills Ability to get into the technical weeds to come to a solution Demonstrated ability to assess customer needs, creatively approach solutions, and decide and influence appropriate courses of action Strong project management skills (PMI certification a plus) Strong process management, negotiating, influencing, and problem‑resolution skills Experience completing information technology cost/resource estimates to implement and support solutions Excellent communicator, both written and spoken Experience with Agile Development methodology and tools (CSPO or CSM certification a plus) Experience with JIRA and Confluence Undergraduate degree Familiarity with hospitality industry applications and processes (preferred) Experience working with 3rd party vendors and service providers (preferred) Familiarity with existing information architecture, application portfolio, and information management methodology (preferred) Equal Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.
