At Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), we’re pushing the boundaries of how enterprise software gets built. Our AI Applications org is creating the next generation of intelligent, agentic systems—platforms where users across functions interact with AI agents for reasoning, automation, and insight.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.

10+ years of software engineering experience, with substantial time in leadership roles.

Proven track record managing multiple engineering teams and delivering enterprise-scale systems.

Deep expertise in cloud-native architectures, system reliability, operational excellence, and performance engineering.

Demonstrated ability to influence architecture and strategy across functions and organizations.

Experience mentoring and developing managers and engineering leaders.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience leading AI product or platform organizations.

Familiarity with LLM and agent frameworks (e.g. orchestrating LLMs, multi-agent systems, agentic orchestration, retrieval, memory infrastructures).

Publication, open-source contributions, or recognized technical leadership in the AI/ML community.

Responsibilities

Define the engineering roadmap and technical vision for enterprise AI product suites (e.g. Oracle Chat), aligned to business and research goals.

Lead through Directors (M4) and Senior Managers (M3), empowering them to deliver high-quality technical execution.

Oversee architecture, system reliability, performance, and scalability across agentic AI services.

Foster culture of accountability, engineering best practices, operational readiness, and continuous improvement.

Align with applied scientists and product leadership to translate new AI innovations into production-grade capabilities.

Manage cross-functional dependencies and ensure timely delivery of complex projects that span multiple teams and domains.

Mentor technical leads and senior engineers, growing leadership capabilities across the org.

Partner with stakeholders to balance innovation speed, product quality, and business impact.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $141,200 - $338,500 per year. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
