About The Role
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) works with clients to make real estate a significant contributor to organizational productivity and performance. Each client is entrusted with a dedicated leader and is supported by regional and global resources, demonstrating the industry's most robust platform. What You’ll Do
Perform assigned day‑to‑day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance. Complete maintenance and repairs, and record as required. Review assigned work orders. Estimate time and materials needed to complete repair. Order necessary materials and supplies. Use CMMS to manage work orders and track completion. Lead troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems, including plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, and HVAC/R. Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety laws. Inspect building systems (fire alarms, HVAC/R, and plumbing) to ensure operations are within design specifications and meet client environmental conditions. Oversee and inspect work performed by outside contractors. Maintain building lighting system, including element and ballast repairs or replacements. Maintain grounds of facility or property by raking, sweeping, leaf blowing, or snow removal. Perform furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed. Perform welding, carpentry, furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed. Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed. Report and communicate daily all work activity via PDA device. What You’ll Need
High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 4 years of related experience and/or trade school training. Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record with periodic checks. Possess necessary skills to functionally operate a "full size" van/truck. Licensure as required by Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). Universal CFC certification preferred. Excellent social skills, including oral and written communications. Use computer and/or PDA for work order system, email, and training. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. Why CBRE?
