Regional Application Engineer – Americas GE Vernova invites applications for the Regional Application Engineer (RAE) role. The RAE serves as the primary technical interface with Services Sales, Customer Users, and internal cross‑functional teams during the R1 Solutioning phase (prior to the R2‑Gate). The RAE influences customer positioning, defines technical configurations, and drives firm proposal strategy.

Roles and Responsibilities

Provide engineering support and develop technical solutions (configuration, performance estimation, value story, etc.) as part of the R1 Solutioning process.

Manage technical analysis of customer needs: definition, optimization, scope, performance, and cost while considering contract and internal tools and processes.

Calculate plant, system and equipment performance and efficiency. Propose technical specifications & costing elements.

Apply LEAN concepts, run data analysis on team operational throughputs, and investigate continuous improvement ideas.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between customer/sales and engineering.

Operate autonomously within a defined framework to meet customer deliverables; seek supervision when needed.

Required Qualifications

B.S. degree in relevant engineering discipline.

2‑4 years of experience in the power industry engineering function.

1‑2 years of customer‑facing experience.

U.S. Persons only (U.S. Citizenship, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual). Proof of status required prior to employment.

Willingness and ability to travel.

Desired Characteristics

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; proven analytical problem‑solving ability.

Project management skills and documented execution of tasks.

Advanced engineering degree (preferred); comprehensive knowledge of GE Vernova Gas Power products and technology.

External focus with assessment of price and performance impact on customers, markets, and investors.

Knowledgeable in power generation industry trends and competition.

Regional structure experience and lean practices.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range: $98,400.00 – $164,000.00 USD annual (location based).

10% variable incentive bonus.
