A contract position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support a K-12 school located in Danbury, CT for the current school year. This role is essential in providing speech and language services to students to support their educational and communicative development.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations for K-12 students. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting speech, language, and communication goals. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policies and regulatory requirements. Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions regarding student needs. Qualifications
Valid SLP license and certification (CCC-SLP preferred). Experience working in school settings, ideally serving K-12 populations. Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology assessment tools and therapeutic techniques. Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.
