Pay: $28-49/hr. based on years of experience.
12-month assignment with possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
Responsibilities
Conduct laboratory experiments under supervision, following established protocols and safety guidelines, and accurately document results in eLN.
Troubleshoot experimental issues and provide relevant details and conclusions for design history files (DHFs).
Analyze experimental data using basic techniques and existing templates, following standard protocols with guidance.
Communicate experimental results clearly to supervisors, prepare lab reports, protocols, and findings in eLN and DHFs, and present results at group meetings when required.
Participate in professional and collaborative interactions within the Development team, fostering a respectful and productive work environment.
Perform routine laboratory management tasks, including inventory tracking, equipment maintenance, and adherence to ISO/QSR standards and lab safety practices.
Apply foundational knowledge of molecular biology, microbiology, and biochemistry concepts (e.g., PCR, sterile technique, calculations) relevant to assigned assays and platforms.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field is
required
Experience with DNA/RNA isolation is
required
Experience with PCR, qPCR, and/or digital PCR applications is
preferred
Experience with data analysis using statistical tools is
preferred
Oncology or Genetics research is
preferred
