We’re seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented
Scientist I
to join our
Assay Development team
supporting on-market products and developing next-generation companion diagnostic assays in the
Oncology and Genetics
space. The ideal candidate combines strong scientific rigor with hands-on technical skills in molecular biology and assay development.
Key Job Functions
Perform laboratory experiments under supervision following established protocols, ensuring adherence to safety and data integrity standards.
Data Analysis & Documentation: Analyze and interpret experimental data using statistical tools (e.g., JMP), prepare technical reports, and maintain accurate electronic lab notebooks (eLN).
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicate experimental results effectively across teams, contribute to design history files (DHFs), and support project goals within defined timelines.
Core Skills & Competencies
DNA/RNA isolation and purification
PCR, qPCR, and digital PCR techniques
Data analysis using JMP or equivalent tools
Strong documentation and technical writing (eLN, DHF)
Experimental troubleshooting and method optimization
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Time management and organizational efficiency
Adherence to ISO, QSR, and lab safety standards
Critical thinking and problem-solving
Adaptability in fast-paced R&D environments
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or related scientific discipline
0–5 years of relevant hands‑on laboratory experience
