Description
- Install and connect electrical components, wiring, and systems in terminal tractors during the assembly process, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and safety standards.
- Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve electrical issues, ensuring all systems (powertrain, lighting, battery, control systems) are functioning properly during the production process.
- Perform necessary repairs, modifications, and ongoing maintenance of electrical components to minimize downtime and maintain smooth production flow on the assembly line.
- Work alongside the assembly line team to ensure electrical installations are completed on schedule, and collaborate to resolve electrical issues quickly during production.
- Inspect completed electrical work to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and operational requirements before final assembly.
- Maintain accurate records of electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance, ensuring proper traceability and communication across the team.
- Follow all safety protocols and work practices to ensure electrical work is performed in a safe manner, contributing to a safe working environment for all team members.
- Provide suggestions for continuous improvement related to electrical installation processes, contributing to increased efficiency and quality in the manufacturing plant.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. Certification or associate degree in automotive electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience as an automotive electrician, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring, schematics, and control systems. Experience with terminal tractors or heavy equipment electrical systems is a plus. Familiarity with electrical systems, PLCs, motors, sensors, and circuit boards.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.63 - $42.00/hr.
