The Role You will be a
Global Payroll Implementation Specialist
on the Global Payroll Implementation team. Your mission is to technically implement new customers of all sizes onto our Remote Global Payroll solution platform with accuracy and within agreed timescales. You will report to the Manager, Global Payroll Implementations.
What You Bring
5+ years of Global Payroll Implementation Experience, including statutory tax regulations and payroll processing.
3+ years of Global Payroll Technical Implementation set‑up on local payroll software.
Excellent understanding of end‑to‑end Global Payroll, PEO, and HR processes.
Experience in payroll operations and statutory requirements.
Experience in accounting reconciliations.
High data management skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience handling multiple projects with multiple stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with problem‑solving abilities.
Technical aptitude, computer literacy, data analysis, and critical thinking.
Fast‑paced, international work environment with a passion for impact.
Team player who works independently, autonomously, and takes ownership.
Customer‑care orientation and client relationship building.
Productivity geek who automates and speeds up work.
Proficient in Google Sheets or Excel.
Comfortable working within a MacBook Pro environment.
Fluent spoken and written English.
Remote work experience a plus.
Working knowledge of Notion, Slack, Zendesk, Monday.com, Salesforce, and DACH payroll software a plus.
Responsibilities
Serve as primary point of contact for Payroll customers to set up and provide an accurate and seamless transition of their payroll requirements to Remote’s products and services.
Analyze customers’ payroll needs and recommend solutions.
Direct and manage implementations from start to go‑live, including:
Collect customer and employee payroll data per legal entity.
Configure Remote’s Global Payroll system per customer.
Coordinate and reconcile parallel payroll runs and wage‑based taxes.
Verify compliance with statutory regulations.
Communicate payroll go‑live and hand over to Remote Payroll Operations.
Communicate clearly and timely with customers, teammates, supervisors, and vendors.
Maintain positive customer relationships and contribute to high retention rates.
Provide support and training to new customers and employees on payroll processes and country‑specific needs.
Ensure confidentiality of all customer and employee information.
Help create and maintain process documentation.
Collaborate with internal teams to improve the platform, completing UAT testing and shipping.
Practicalities
Report to: Manager, Global Payroll Implementations.
No direct reports.
Team: Global Payroll Experience & Implementations.
Location: Remote (prioritise EMEA‑DACH).
Start date: ASAP.
