Leasing Consultant - Harbour at New River
TRG Management, a premier property management company experienced with all types of housing, including subsidized, workforce and affordable, mid-rises, high-rises, luxury rentals, and single-family. Today we manage approximately 20,000 units across several states and our current management portfolio contains over 100 properties.
Responsibilities
Interview prospective tenants and record information to ascertain needs and qualifications.
Accompany prospects to model apartments and discuss size, layout, available facilities and services, and lease terms.
Complete lease form or agreement and collect rental deposit.
Inspect condition of premises periodically and arrange for necessary maintenance.
Compile listings of available rental units.
Identify prospects.
Answer incoming call and voicemails in a timely and professional manner.
Have prospect complete application and secure deposit in accordance with the company procedures and Fair Housing requirements.
Update availability report, process applications for approvals (i.e., credit check, rental history, etc.) and submit processed applications to the Community Manager for approval. Follow up with applicant regarding status.
Ensure apartment is ready for resident to move-in on agreed date.
Immediately follow up on prospects that did not close and attempt to close sale again. If unable to help prospect, refer them to sister communities to meet prospect’s needs.
Assist in monitoring renewals, distribute and follow up or monitor advertising effectiveness, and gather information about market competition in the area and file.
