Operations & Supply Chain Recruiter | From the Shop Floor to Senior Leadership
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive
Senior
HR Generalist
to join our team. This role plays a critical part in shaping and supporting HR initiatives that align with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HR best practices, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a strategic HR partner to management and employees across various departments. Lead and support full-cycle HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding. Advise leadership on organizational development, workforce planning, and employee engagement strategies. Provide guidance and interpretation of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws to ensure compliance. Handle complex employee relations issues, investigations, and disciplinary actions in a fair and timely manner. Analyze HR metrics and trends to develop data-driven solutions and strategies. Assist in developing and delivering training programs to support employee development and compliance. Collaborate on compensation and benefits administration and make recommendations for improvements. Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems, policies, and programs. Mentor and provide guidance to junior HR staff as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus). 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a generalist or senior HR role. Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Exceptional communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills. Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, BambooHR) and MS Office Suite. Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and good judgment under pressure. Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification. Experience in [industry, e.g., tech, manufacturing, healthcare, nonprofit, etc.]. Background in managing HR initiatives in multi-state or global environments.
