Dispensing Training Coordinator 503A (2nd shift) Position Summary The Dispensing Training Coordinator plays a foundational role in supporting our training efforts within the pharmacy dispensing department, ensuring new team members are equipped for success from day one. By helping coordinate, track, and deliver essential training activities, this role strengthens compliance, consistency, and confidence across the team. Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinates onboarding schedules and training logistics for new hires within the dispensing department to ensure timely and consistent integration into workflows.

Supports training material preparation and documentation, maintaining accurate training records and assisting with compliance audits and checklists.

Collaborates with the Dispensing Training Specialist and department leadership to gather training feedback, monitor completion status, and implement incremental updates.

Assists in leading group sessions and job-shadowing activities while reinforcing safety and compliance standards through day-to-day floor presence.

Maintains training systems such as the Learning Management System by enrolling team members, tracking assignments, and updating learning modules as directed.

Knowledge and Skills

Strong interpersonal communication and problem‑solving skills, with proven ability to work collaboratively, follow detailed instructions, and support a dynamic team‑oriented culture.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with Learning Management Systems or other digital training platforms.

Experience And Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a pharmacy operations or healthcare training support role, preferably within a regulated or high‑compliance environment.

High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or pharmacy technician certification preferred.

Registered with the Texas Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician; Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.

Location & Compensation: Houston, TX – $42,120.00 – $60,008.00
