About the Role

We are seeking a full-time BAS/Controls Technician to join our growing team. This role involves hands-on fieldwork performing installation, system checkout, point-to-point testing, commissioning, and supporting Test and Balance (TAB) activities for HVAC and building automation systems. You will also assist in building system graphics and ensuring each project meets our high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform installation, system checkout, and point-to-point testing of BAS/HVAC control systems Commission building automation systems to ensure full functionality and customer satisfaction Support Test and Balance (TAB) efforts and verify system performance Build and update system graphics for operator workstations Calibrate, operate, and maintain sensors, actuators, and related devices Diagnose and resolve control and monitoring system issues Load controller software, complete commissioning documentation, and maintain accurate as-built records Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and customers to ensure smooth project delivery

Qualifications

Completion of HVAC training program or apprenticeship Strong knowledge of HVAC/R and electrical systems Hands-on experience with BAS installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting Ability to perform point-to-point checkout and support TAB activities Experience building graphics for operator workstations Experience with Tridium, Honeywell, or Siemens BAS platforms preferred but not required Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics Proficient with computers and field tools for testing and calibration Strong math, organizational, and communication skills OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification a plus Valid drivers license and insurable driving record
