We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mobile Device Management (MDM) Specialist with SOTI MobiControl and VMware AirWatch/Workspace ONE experience to join our IT team. In this role, you will take ownership of our mobile device ecosystem, ensuring secure, efficient, and user-friendly mobile device deployment and support. You will be instrumental in maintaining device compliance, managing applications, and enabling a seamless mobile workforce. Key Responsibilities

Configure, deploy, and manage mobile devices through SOTI MobiControl and VMware AirWatch/Workspace ONE. Define and maintain device profiles, security policies, and compliance rules to ensure adherence to corporate standards. Optimize MDM workflows for device enrollment, de-provisioning, and lifecycle management. Implement and enforce security policies, including encryption, passcode enforcement, remote wipe, and data loss prevention. Monitor compliance dashboards and address non-compliant devices swiftly to reduce security risks. Collaborate with IT security to implement and refine mobile device security strategies in alignment with organizational policies. Package and deploy mobile applications to user devices, ensuring proper licensing, configuration, and updates. Provide guidance to business units on application requirements and integrations for mobile workflows. Troubleshoot and resolve application installation and performance issues. Act as a primary escalation point for complex mobile device issues, providing technical guidance and support. Develop and deliver training sessions, guides, and self-service documentation to improve user adoption and satisfaction. Provide VIP and executive-level support for critical mobile device needs, ensuring a white-glove experience. Maintain accurate inventory records of mobile devices, including ownership, status, and lifecycle milestones. Conduct periodic audits of mobile devices to ensure data integrity and asset accuracy. Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to support budgeting and forecasting for mobile device needs. Collaborate with IT infrastructure, help desk, and security teams to ensure a holistic approach to mobile device management. Analyze trends and usage data to identify opportunities for cost optimization and improved user experience. Research and evaluate new MDM features, mobile technologies, and best practices to keep the environment modern and secure. Key Qualifications & Experience

2–4 years of experience managing and supporting mobile devices in a medium-to-large enterprise setting. Hands‑on experience configuring and managing SOTI MobiControl and VMware AirWatch/Workspace ONE. Strong understanding of iOS, Android, and Windows mobile ecosystems, including security and application management. Experience with device lifecycle management: procurement, enrollment, support, and decommissioning. Familiarity with IT asset management tools, inventory tracking, and MDM reporting features. Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Solid understanding of mobile device security, encryption, and compliance frameworks. Preferred Experience & Skills

Certifications in mobile device management (e.g., SOTI, AirWatch/Workspace ONE), ITIL Foundation, or security (e.g., CompTIA Security+) are a plus. Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels. Familiarity with rugged device environments (e.g., Zebra, Honeywell) for field operations. Experience supporting devices in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, finance, or retail) with strict compliance needs (HIPAA, PCI DSS, GD~).
