Vice President for Enrollment Management & Student Affairs
Mississippi Valley State University seeks a strategic leader to serve as the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs (EMSA). Reporting to the President, the EMSA will provide executive oversight of enrollment management and student affairs programs, champion student success, and advance the University’s enrollment and student life vision.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop the Enrollment Management and Student Affairs division, ensuring alignment with the University’s Strategic Plan.
Guide the development, implementation, and evaluation of the University’s Enrollment Management Plan, including forecasting, predictive modeling, and data analysis.
Oversee the strategic budget and fiscal management for enrollment and student affairs services.
Foster a campus culture that supports diversity, equity, and inclusive student learning experiences.
Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing EMSA leadership team, ensuring professional development and best practices.
Represent the University on campus and externally, promoting student engagement and institutional reputation.
Collaborate with academic, administrative, and faculty stakeholders to integrate student life with academic excellence.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in higher education administration, student affairs, or related field; terminal degree preferred.
Minimum of eight years of progressively responsible leadership experience in enrollment management or student affairs.
Demonstrated expertise in enrollment strategy, data analytics, and student life program development.
Strong fiscal management, strategic planning, and human‑resource leadership skills.
Commitment to diversity and the ability to work effectively with a multicultural student body.
Proficiency with enrollment management systems, databases, and Microsoft Office suite.
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. or terminal degree in student personnel, higher education administration, or related field.
Experience leading campus-wide enrollment initiatives and student success programs.
Published research or presentations related to enrollment management or student affairs.
