We are seeking a Project Engineer to join the group and focus on Civil Engineering related to site development and redevelopment. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter with some experience in large‑scale multi‑family residential, retail, corporate and industrial projects who will be responsible for code compliance, documentation and coordination with both in‑house and sub‑consultant engineering teams.

This role is at our Arcadis office on the border of Delray Beach and Boca Raton.

Role Accountabilities

Work with a Project Manager to assist with the completion of construction documents for site development, water resources and/or civil projects.

Prepare construction documents, calculations and reports for public or private clients.

Lead the design effort of public infrastructure roads, sidewalks, stormwater and utility improvements.

Lead the design effort of subdivision master plans, grading plans and utility plans for new developments and redevelopments.

Work with municipalities on necessary permits.

Client interface and coordination.

Project management of site development or redevelopment.

Water management analysis experience with M–D DERM, Broward County EPD and SFWMD.

Qualifications & Experience

A Florida‑licensed (PE) or PE candidate Civil Engineer with 3‑5 years of experience in land and site development.

Experience in the civil / land development sector – single site and municipal type projects and the development of construction documents for public sector clients, including cities/counties/water districts, etc.

Proficient skills with AutoCAD Civil 3D software and MicroStation ability not essential, but would be considered an asset.

The ability to work well with team members and to develop and mentor staff.

Good communication and client relationship skills.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 – $132,000.
