CRUSADA is currently seeking a Temporary Research Assistant to join their team of professionals. Duties
Coordinate data collection by organizing and managing quantitative and qualitative data collection efforts across community sites. Support daily research operations by maintaining interview and intervention schedules, preparing materials, and ensuring smooth execution of study protocols. Assist in recruiting and conducting structured interviews, ensuring ethical and culturally sensitive engagement. Implement follow‑up procedures and communication plans to maintain participant involvement throughout the study duration. Maintain accurate records, assist in preparing progress reports, and contribute to research summaries and presentations. Collaborate with local partners, attend community events, and represent CEAL in outreach activities. Adhere to IRB protocols, HIPAA regulations, and FIU research ethics standards. Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma with three (3) years of experience or two (2) years of post‑secondary education with one (1) year of experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience. Desired Qualifications
Experience in clinical research and data collection. Graduate degree preferred. Background in public health, sociology, psychology, social work, or a related field preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills in diverse community settings. Experience with data entry or research software (e.g., REDCap, SPSS) is a plus. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates strongly encouraged. Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends. Work Schedule
