Base pay range $125,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr

Our client is a wholesale firm. They seek a Controller to join their Hauppauge, NY office.

Responsibilities

Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

Oversee all aspects of accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, fixed assets, and payroll

Prepare financial statements in accordance with U.S GAAP

Maintain and strengthen the company’s banking and treasury relationships

Supervise and mentor a team of 4-5 accounting staff

Lead and coordinate the annual audit process with external auditors

Support operational decision-making through financial analysis and reporting

Requirements

6+ years of corporate accounting experience

Relevant industry experience preferred

Combo or private accounting experience

Strong GAAP is a plus

Cost accounting experience is a plus

CPA is a plus
