Assistant Controller
for our NKY based client. As the Assistant Controller you will lead core accounting operations and help shape the financial future of a fast-growing, privately held subsidiary. This is a high-impact role with a clear path to Controller, ideal for professionals ready to take the next step in their career. Base pay range
$110,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Own the financial statements and lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in compliance with GAAP. Manage external audit preparation and coordination, supported by a Senior Accountant. Supervise daily accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, billing, and collections. Mentor and grow a small accounting team, fostering a culture of development and accountability. Drive process improvements and leverage systems to enhance efficiency and reporting. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. CPA, CPA in progress, or public accounting experience required. Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP, MS Dynamics, GP, or similar preferred.
